Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for installing and removing vinyl wraps on various types of vehicles at various sites across the country, ensuring that all installations meet operational standards and campaign requirements. Typical vehicles include box trucks and transit buses.
Job Functions
1. Measures, cuts, fits and applies vinyl sheets to exterior surfaces of vehicles to create a smooth, professional finish.
2. Travels to various locations to perform vinyl wrap installations on vehicles as required by the campaign.
3. Optimizes travel routes and coordinates the installation plan with transit partners to guarantee a timely and seamless installation process.
4. Maintains and organizes tools, materials, and equipment used in vehicle wrap installation.
5. Maintains accurate installation records, including time spent, issues and post-installation photos.
6. Stays overnight or for extended periods at remote or out-of-state locations, as needed for the completion of projects.
7. Manages and retains supporting documents for expense reporting. Submits expense reports in a timely manner.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Flexibility to travel to different locations for extended period of time.
· Ability to work in physically demanding environments, often requiring standing, bending and lifting.
· Ability to handle and install large sheets of vinyl without damaging the material.
· Proficient in using tools such as heat guns, squeegees, knives, vinyl cutters, ladders and scaffolding.
· Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
· Adaptability to quickly changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
· Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience in vinyl vehicle wrap installation or related fields, preferably involving national travel.
Pay:
Payment is based per vehicle wrapped/removed. Varies from job to job.
