We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. **Duties** - Greet and assist customers with their needs, providing product information and answering questions in a friendly and professional manner. - Ring up purchases on a cash register, accurately handling cash, credit card, and mobile payments. - Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash register area, sales floor, and stockroom. - Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are available for customers. - Assist with sales and promotions, utilizing upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase sales. - Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and handle cash handling responsibilities. - Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure efficient store operations. - Sell products to customers, providing product knowledge and recommendations. - Handle cash handling responsibilities, including counting and verifying cash and credit card transactions. - Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise. **Requirements** - Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain a positive attitude. - Basic knowledge of retail sales and customer service principles. - Ability to lift and stand for long periods of time. - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings until 7 and Saturdays. - High school diploma or equivalent required. **Skills** - Upselling - Cash register - Communicate - Retail math - Stock - Sales - Basic math - Cash handling - Sell - Retail sales
