We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively sell and upsell items.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and appealing store layout.
- Communicate with customers regarding their inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing customer questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the store.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate products and engage customers in conversation about their needs.
- Familiarity with stock management practices is beneficial.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
You must have availability until 7 pm on weekdays and on Saturday. Looking for someone who loves people and willing to learn about the products we carry.
