About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Staff Accountant to join our Home Office Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support tax compliance and reporting across the organization while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and regulatory functions.

What You’ll Do
- Complete general tax and compliance responsibilities for the organization
- Apply for and renew state and local business licenses across multiple locations
- File business personal property tax returns
- File and remit monthly sales and use tax
- Complete wage verifications and respond to agency requests
You’ll Also Have the Opportunity to Learn and Support:
- Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding filings
- Quarterly unemployment filings and state unemployment requests
- Reporting and payment of unclaimed wages
- Quarterly estimated tax payments
Ideal Candidate
- 1 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with business licenses, personal property tax, or multi-location compliance is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Sense of urgency balanced with professionalism
- Desire to learn, improve processes, and grow within an accounting career
