Responsibilities

- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform accrual accounting tasks to accurately reflect financial positions.
- Analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights on cash flow analysis and account performance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for analysis.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and accrual accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct account analysis effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of financial services and reporting standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
