This role is seeking a Server for Mornings/Lunches Only.
General timeframe would be from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Monday-Friday availability.
Need 1-3 years of Serving Experience to qualify.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient service flow.
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest bookings and optimize seating efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale settings.
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS system.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle inquiries professionally.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the food industry.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction.
