Major Duties And Responsibilities

- Transport, unload, and organize scaffolding materials at job sites.
- Assist the leadman in building and securing scaffolding to structures.
- Lay planks and platforms for workers.
- Install fall protection equipment as needed.
- Help hoist and lower materials safely onto scaffolding.
- Work with crane operators to rig materials onto platforms.
- Inspect scaffolding and report any damage or safety concerns.
- Use hand and power tools as needed.
- Assist with scaffolding breakdown when projects are complete.
- Follow all safety procedures and project plans.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience using various power/hand tools
- Previous scaffolding experience preferred but not needed.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from job orders, & work orders
- Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions carefully and accurately
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Demonstrated commitment to following safety rules
- Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
- OSHA training preferred
- Able to work in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectious materials and possible inclement weather conditions.
- Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, stretch, squat and climb, often in restricted spaces and at great heights for extended periods on ladders and scaffolding.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
- Good dexterity and coordination
- Able to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Able to work safety with specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials.
- Able to see, talk and hear in person and phone.
- Able to lift & carry items up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Able to understand and execute actions based on verbal and visual instructions.
