Scope of Position
The James Ambulatory Services provides patients with the same quality care offered by the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. The facility’s primary function is to provide Medical and Surgical Oncology services with ancillary support provided, such as radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, etc. The incumbent functions as an integral member of a team and reflects a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm and mutual respect. The Patient Access Department is responsible for collecting and distributing patient medical information on a daily basis to ensure it is available prior to a new patient’s arrival at the outpatient clinics.
Position Summary
The Student Administrative Assistant will provide administrative/ office support to the Patient Access Department.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: OSU student with clerical and customer service skills; including knowledge with PCs and
Familiarity with Microsoft Word.
