Job Description
Responsible for assisting in the development, organization, direct marketing and delivery of the Sports Medicine Center's Strength & Conditioning Services including, but not limited to: high school contracts, team speed and agility training, customized injury prevention programming, personal and group training. Ensures emphasis on evidence-based programming and promotes synergistic relationships with other Sports Medicine clinical services and programming.
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include bachelors degree and certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and/or American College of Sports Medicine. Advanced degree preferred. Examples of additional desired certifications include: Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting, USA Track & Field, Titleist Performance Institute, and Crossfit. Previous experience working with athletic populations required. CPR Certification required.
