Job Duties
Work with children ages 6–12 years old
Implement and support various program activities, including sports and games, aquatics, creative arts, and more
Lead a group of 8–10 campers through daily activities and transitions
Collaborate with camp supervisors to develop ideas and address concerns, including behavior issues or bullying
Build positive relationships with campers and support their social development
Work with fellow counselors to maintain a cohesive and supportive camp environment
Eat lunch with campers and help maintain a clean and organized eating area
Demonstrate enthusiasm to encourage camper participation
Instruct campers on emergency procedures and ensure accountability during drills or emergencies
Manage daily sign‑in and sign‑out, ensuring release only to approved individuals
Encourage respect for camp equipment, facilities, and personal property
Attend weekly all‑staff meetings
Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating cleanliness, punctuality, teamwork, sportsmanship, and good manners
