The Extended Day Coordinator oversees the daily operations of The Oaks Academy’s childcare program, providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students beyond the school day and throughout summer programs. This role focuses on supervision, programming, staff coordination, and family communication. This is a 12-month, full-time position.

The Extended Day Coordinator oversees the daily operations of The Oaks Academy’s childcare program, providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students beyond the school day and throughout summer programs. This role focuses on supervision, programming, staff coordination, and family communication. This is a 12-month, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily childcare operations, including student attendance.
- Collaborate with transportation service for the school year and summer programs.
- Supervise and support after care staff and volunteers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, including homework support, recreation, and enrichment.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for students.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding schedules, policies, and student needs.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety procedures.
- Track attendance and assist with program reporting as needed.
- Plan and facilitate summer camp programs.
- Collaborate with other Oaks Plus coordinators.

Requirements
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Proven team leader
- Digital competencies, including common software and online tools
- Ability to manage routines, transitions, and behavior
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Devout Christian who is a member of, associated with, or seeking to be associated with, a Christ-centered community of faith or a church
