Heavy Equipment Operators (Construction) – Dutchess County, NY Locations

We’re actively seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our construction teams in Hyde Park, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY. If you're dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work on high-impact construction projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Heavy Equipment Operating:

• • excavators,
  • bulldozers
  • backhoes
  • loaders
  • other heavy machinery on active construction sites

• Follow project plans, site layouts, and supervisor instructions
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Comply with all safety protocols and procedures
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution

Qualifications Heavy Equipment Operators:

• Minimum 4 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required
• Knowledge of site safety, excavation standards, and operational procedures
• Ability to read site plans and work well within a team environment
• Valid certifications for equipment operation (preferred)
• CDL a plus, but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
