Job Description Overview:
JL Construction Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing site development team. The ideal candidate will have strong GPS machine control experience and be proficient operating bulldozers for grading, site development, and earthwork projects throughout the Capital Region and Hudson Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment on commercial site development projects.
- Utilize GPS machine control systems and grade stakes.
- Perform rough and finish grading, excavation, trenching, and site development work.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with project superintendents and field crews to maintain production schedules.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain equipment and keep accurate daily logs as required.
