Are you passionate about plants and love working outdoors? The Nursery at Colts Neck is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team! We have multiple positions available. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to customers on plant selection, care, and landscaping
- Maintain plant health through proper watering, pruning, and pest control
- Unload, stock, and organize inventory (trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, soil, etc.)
- Operate equipment safely (carts, wheelbarrows, forklifts if applicable)
- Keep the garden center clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Assist with planting displays and seasonal arrangements
- Process sales transactions and manage customer orders
- Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a garden center, greenhouse, nursery, or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of plant care, soil types, and pest/disease management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Operating the cash register and processing transactions
Keeping the garden center clean and organized
Helping with seasonal displays and special projects
Loading heavy items (soil, mulch, plants) into customer vehicles
