Description:Contract Duration: 11-12 months potential extensionCANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN BAY AREA/NEAR WORK LOCATION-SAN RAMON. ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID AND WILL INCLUDE SOME VISITS TO ACTIVE JOB SITES, YARDS, OR OTHER FACILITIES OUTSIDE OF HOME OFFICE LOCATION.TOP THINGS LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:o Strong program and project management experience; this should include strong analytical skills; preferably (but not required) in the utility industry The candidate's ability to be successful in this role will be highly dependent on their ability to assess data in multiple forms (text, numbers, etc.), identify opportunities for process improvement, identify and communicate a business case, and work cross-functionally to deliver on the identified solutiono Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resourceso Strong communication skills, particularly in relaying complex ideas / concepts to non-technical audiences Program Manager, Senior• Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions plan and goals.• Works independently on most issues.• Provides direction on overall program plan and goals.• Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan.• Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management.• Develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address.• Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight.Education:• Bachelor degree or equivalent experienceExperience:6 years of related experience or equivalentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDesired• Advanced knowledge of Program Management• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints.• Knowledge and understanding of business drivers.• Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams• Ability to work within a Regulatory environment• Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projectsKnowledge of energy industry applications to local level customers, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency applications, and general customer information.Desired• Primarily office environment with extensive use of personal computers, telephone conversations, conference calls and in person meetings.Travel may be required.Company DescriptionAbout us:The Norland Group has been in operation successfully since 1996.
