Title: Registered Healthcare Nurse (Part Time)LOCATION: Sunnyvale CA DURATION: 2 year contract **BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST IS REQUIRED* Hours: Thursday and Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm - may be asked to provide additional support on first shift to cover time off for other nursesDescription of Nurse 3 Duties:• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries.• Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety. Note: most of these services are performed offsite by an outside clinic, but the nurse will be responsible for scheduling, obtaining and reviewing all results from the clinic.• Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements.• Dispense OTC Medications.• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace.Required Basic Qualifications:• At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with Associate of Science in Nursing• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and internet navigation• Strong presentation skills• Ability to work independently or with a team on special projects• Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills• Strong attention to detail• Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously• Ability to maintain confidential documents and information• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines• Ability to function within all levels of organization and at various locationsRequired certifications:• CPR/BLSPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing• 2 years in occupational healthPreferred Certifications:• Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC)• Spirometry (NIOSH approved course optimal)• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) Company DescriptionAbout us:The Norland Group has been in operation successfully since 1996.
