What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative position at The New Orleans Firemen's FCU?
The New Orleans Firemen's FCU is searching for a Member Service Representative to join our dynamic Slidell team. Our MSRs serve as a liaison between the members and the Credit Union. They perform a variety of services including, but not limited to, providing account information, opening new accounts, and professionally handling members’ daily Credit Union needs. They also provide a variety of transaction services to members and limited transactions to guest members from other credit unions in a courteous, prompt, and accurate manner.
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Education Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Professional appearance, dress and attitude
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment
- Basic understanding of Credit Union operations, and knowledge of teller policies and procedures is a plus
Excellent benefits and a tiered salary range of $15.75/hr.-$20.11/hr.
