The ideal candidate will have an interest in the inner workings of a newspaper office.
- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and records
- Provide customer support by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Assist with data entry tasks and ensure accuracy of information entered into computerized systems
- Keep office clean and tidy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic math skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
