Overview

NASHUA, NH (NATIONWIDE SEARCH): A warm, first-time family expecting their baby in mid-August is seeking a loving, attentive newborn care nanny to join their home starting October 1st, 2026. Above all, this role is about love and care for their new baby, and the family is looking for someone who brings genuine warmth, patience, and dedication to that role.  The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 7/8am to 5/6pm. Mom works in an office nearby, and Dad works hybrid and is home for much of the week, so this is a household where a caregiver will often be working alongside an involved, present family rather than fully solo.Responsibilities center on all duties related to caring for the new baby. Helping with the baby's laundry and occasionally the parents' laundry is a bonus but not required, and light meal prep for the baby will become part of the role down the line once solids are introduced. Candidates should be comfortable navigating stairs regularly and comfortable around dogs, as the family has a golden retriever in the home. A willingness to travel and a valid passport are considered a bonus, not a requirement.The ideal candidate is up to date on standard vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR, has a clean driving record, and is comfortable driving the baby as needed. This is an educated household that values education, and the family is looking for a candidate who reflects that same thoughtfulness and care. The family is open to a nationwide search but is not offering relocation assistance at this time.Compensation is $30-50 per hour gross, commensurate with experience, and industry-standard 10 days of PTO plus 5 sick days.

Qualifications

Minimum Candidate Requirements

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field; alternatively, a completed associate degree specifically in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Five or more years of verifiable professional childcare experience
• Current infant and pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent professional and character references
• Ability to commit for at least one year unless applying for a temporary position
• Successful completion of all required background and driving-record checks
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record when driving is required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to accept legal W-2 employment through payroll
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, punctuality, and safe cellphone practices
• No smoking or vaping while working or around children
• Competent swimming ability when required by the position
• TrustLine registration or a current application in process for California placements
