Location: Princeton, NJ
Contract Type: Long-Term
Start Date: January (flexible)
Schedule: Tue–Thu, 2/3pm–8pm (family open to adding Mon or Sat/Sun)
Children: 6, 4, and 1.5
Pay: $30–$40/hr
Benefits: 20–25 guaranteed hours/week, paid federal holidays, paid vacation, paid personal/sick days, mileage reimbursement
About the Role
Princeton family seeking an experienced, dependable nanny for consistent after-school care. Ideal for someone confident with multiple children and comfortable managing school pickups, activities, and evening routines.
Responsibilities
- School/daycare pickups
- Driving to activities (family minivan available)
- Afternoon/evening routines
- Light meal prep for the children
- Keeping kid areas tidy
- Caring for 1–3 children depending on the day
- Clear daily communication with parents
- Occasional date-night help
- Flexibility when a child is home sick
Requirements
- Within 30 minutes of Princeton
- 3 years paid childcare experience
- Experience with toddlers & school-age children
- TDAP & flu up to date; COVID preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing)
- Valid driver’s license, clean record
- Comfortable driving a minivan
- Cat-friendly
- French-speaking a plus
- Occasional weekend/overnight/travel availability is a plus
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
