Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Dressing and mobility support
- Toileting and incontinence care
Companionship & Emotional Support
- Provide social interaction and companionship
- Engage clients in conversation, activities, or hobbies
- Monitor emotional well-being and report concerns
Safety & Monitoring
- Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior
- Ensure a safe environment (fall prevention, medication reminders—not administration)
- Follow care plans and agency guidelines
Household Support
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up)
- Assist with meal preparation and basic nutrition needs
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
Qualification
- PSS certification (or willingness to obtain, depending on state requirements)
- Experience in home care, caregiving, or related field preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
