Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the loading and unloading of household goods, ensuring that all furniture is handled safely and efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations at every move, contributing to overall productivity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture and other household items from inside homes, offices, trucks, and storage containers, ensuring accurate handling and placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to wrap furniture, to load trucks with care and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all tasks to minimize risks
Skills
- Proficient in using hand trucks, shrink/blanket wrapping furniture, loading a truck, and packing delicate kitchen/household items.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques to ensure safe transport of household goods.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Can adapt well to various workplace environments.
