We are seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this on-site role, you will assist clients in navigating the mortgage lending process. Responsibilities include assessing client financial information, recommending suitable loan products, collaborating with underwriting teams to ensure applications meet approval criteria, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your expertise will help guide clients through the process of obtaining a mortgage tailored to their needs.
- Experience in Mortgage Lending, including Mortgage Industry and Loan Officer roles
- Knowledge of Underwriting principles and practices
- Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing mortgage lending
- Experience with loan origination software and tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
