The Moorings Marina, a full-service marina on beautiful Lake Champlain, is looking for a skilled and motivated Marine Technician / Marina Worker to join our team. Located just north of Burlington, Vermont, on beautiful Malletts Bay, our marina is growing, and we need someone who shares our enthusiasm for boating, customer service, and the great outdoors!
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key member of our crew, you’ll take on a variety of tasks to help keep our marina running smoothly, including:
-Operating and maintaining marina equipment, boats, and facilities
-Helping with boat hauling, launching, winterization, and shrink-wrapping
-Performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on boats
- Managing dock operations, general maintenance, and repairs
- Assisting customers, ordering parts, estimating jobs, and tracking inventory
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who is:
✔ Experienced (or eager to learn) about marine systems, vessel operation, and troubleshooting
✔Handy with tools and comfortable with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing tasks
✔A great communicator who can work well with customers, vendors, and teammates
✔A problem solver who thrives in an outdoor environment
✔ Available for some weekend and summer holiday work
