Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties, while managing tabs and processing payments efficiently.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or lively settings, while adhering to responsible serving practices.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at banquets or catering events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Basic math skills for accurate sales calculations, retail math understanding for cash handling, and managing tabs efficiently.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector; additional skills such as brewing knowledge or retail math are advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events; nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
