Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential or hospitality spaces, ensuring high standards of sanitation and presentation. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing surfaces to maintain pristine conditions
• Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies to promote hygiene standards
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including cleaning patios or outdoor furniture and maintaining exterior cleanliness
• Practice proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to ensure safety at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests’ needs promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel cleaning or commercial janitorial services is highly desirable
• Previous hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with floor care methods such as carpet cleaning and polishing techniques
• Experience with laundry operations and handling various textiles efficiently
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods
• Outdoor work experience is advantageous for maintaining exterior spaces when required
