Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.
We are seeking a Technical Designer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute design aesthetics through consistent garment fit and construction aligned with customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors throughout the product creation process.
- Translate design concepts into technical specifications for costing and prototype development.
- Support fit camps and maintain customer fit consistency across product categories.
- Troubleshoot and communicate garment fit issues and recommend solutions.
- Assess fit, construction, and quality risks throughout development processes.
- Ensure physical and digital samples comply with brand standards and quality expectations.
- Support fit and construction consistency across product development workflows.
- Analyze fit-related data and relatively complex situations to recommend effective solutions.
- Partner with design and production teams to support successful product execution.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, alterations, and grading.
- Experience with fit, construction, and quality standards.
- Understanding of brand, customer, and cost requirements within apparel product development.
- Experience using PLM software or Tech Pack Management systems.
- Experience translating design concepts into technical specifications and prototypes.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot fit and construction issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess complex fit and product development situations and recommend solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Experience ensuring physical and digital samples meet brand standards.
- Familiarity with digital product development workflows.
- Experience with PLM software, preferably Centric.
- Foundational knowledge of 3D rendering and/or digital pattern software.
- Strong experience with garment construction and patternmaking.
