A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Data Analyst to help support their business needs.
The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.

- Work with senior management, technical, and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system, or direct others in coding descriptions
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes
- Modify existing databases and database management systems, and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
- Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications
- A bachelor's degree in a preferred field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required
- 2-4 years of applicable experience required
- ASC certification is applicable, or other automotive certifications are helpful
- Knowledge of Dealer Fixed Operations
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle repairs
- Organizational skills
- Experience with database technologies
- Knowledge of the ETL process
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated history of success
- Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
- Perform onsite and electronic audits, 1 or 2 weeks on the road, then in the home office doing electronic audits, then back on the road, then back home to finalize audits
