We are seeking a Communications Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Culver City, CA.
This role supports publicity efforts by helping manage show assets, drafting press materials, coordinating talent travel and services, tracking budgets and invoices, and maintaining calendars and press lists. It also assists with planning and executing press events, coverage reporting, and day-to-day departmental coordination.

Responsibilities
- Manage show asset needs, including photos, clips, loglines, bios, and headshots.
- Draft press materials, including press releases and media alerts.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for talent.
- Coordinate glam services for talent.
- Track invoices and show budgets.
- Assist with planning, staffing, logistics, and talent/media relations for press events, including premieres, festivals, junkets, press trips, awards shows, and industry events.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and PR department meetings.
- Maintain and update department and team calendars with publicity activities.
- Organize press mailings.
- Update and maintain press contact lists and editorial calendars.
- Compile show campaign coverage reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in entertainment publicity.
- Understanding of entertainment press, industry trends, and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with high-profile individuals, including talent, producers, and media.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X.
- GPA above 3.0 from an accredited university.
