Position Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Underwriter III to manage large, complex insurance accounts and mentor junior staff. This strategic role combines high-level risk assessment, independent underwriting, and leadership in marketing and client consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead underwriting of large accounts
Train and mentor junior underwriters
Conduct high-level risk assessments and site visits
Perform independent pricing, rating, and binding
Develop marketing presentations and represent the organization externally
Identify trends, support actuarial analysis, and drive retention
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
8–10 years commercial insurance experience
Property & Casualty Producer License (or ability to obtain)
Valid Driver’s License
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
CIC, CRM, or ARM certifications
