Position Overview:
We are hiring an Underwriter II to evaluate and manage medium-sized commercial accounts. This role includes underwriting, client consultations, renewal processing, and risk analysis, supporting our broader goal of effective insurance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite property and liability policies for mid-sized accounts
Perform risk analysis and pricing for new/renewal business
Conduct site visits and renewal reviews
Consult with clients on coverage protection and uninsured exposures
Prepare certificates of insurance and risk mitigation strategies
Troubleshoot system data and perform loss trend analyses
Represent the organization at conferences and meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
4–6 years of relevant commercial insurance experience
Property & Casualty Producer License (or ability to obtain)
Valid Driver’s License
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
CIC, CRM, or ARM certifications
