Job Responsibilities
- Audit daily records of assigned gaming revenue generating departments in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company/department policies and procedures.
- Prepare manual and computer accounting records and reports.
- Work with operating departments to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Perform daily audits of cage, HHR, electronic games and count room areas.
- Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process.
- Aid in preparation of reports for Tax Department and VP of Accounting in a manner to ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulation and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.
- Anticipate ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.
- Investigate and report discrepancies determined through audit process to Accounting Controller.
- Use Aristocrat Oasis 360 system and Sage Intacct systems, compare and analyze jackpot tickets, vouchers, discrepancies, variances against machines.
- Responsibility to ensure all Title 31 audit regulations are enforced.
- Participates in numerous special projects including Live Racing, Derby and special events and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain effective written and oral communication skills.
- Meets deadlines and maintains high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondences with demonstrated knowledge of audit functions and regulatory requirements.

- High School Diploma required.
- 2 Years of recent and related auditing or accounting experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks
- Internal Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky Gaming/Racing license.
- Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to repeat the same movements.
- Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to successfully communicate on a regular basis with all co-workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
- Must be able to answer all inquiries and provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner.
- Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens.
- Must be able to work in environment where smoking is permitted and can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
