General Summary: The Inventory Field Auditor travels to all FiveStar stores in assigned division (in a company vehicle), typically performing one store inventory audit per day. These audits consist of physically counting and reporting store inventories, while working with the rest of the Inventory Crew and the Store Management team to get the most accurate count possible.
Essential Job Duties:
- Physically count all store inventories per policy.
- Communicate discrepancies to the Inventory Audit Crew Leader.
- Learn and understand the invoice procedures.
- Learn and understand the store stocking procedures.
- Learn and understand store-based equipment that may relate to inventories or audits.
- Operate inventory equipment systems, including handheld scanning devices.
- Assist in researching discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports at the conclusion of a store audit.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to calculate basic arithmetic to provide accurate counts and reports.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or with others.
- Team player, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
- Excellent time management skills and detail oriented.
- Basic Computer Skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in a retail store environment and day travel is typically required.
- Standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, reaching, climbing ladders may be required.
- Prolonged periods of driving or sitting in a car to reach jobsite may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, including lifting hoses and couplers.
