Job Summary:

The Tennis Shop Attendant will help support the tennis shop with desk duties and occasional help with facility maintenance.

Essential Duties/Functions:

• Duties include opening or closing duties in the pro shop.
• general shop cleaning.
• Court lining and sweeping.
• Answering phones in the shop.
• Keeping track of billing, merchandise sales.
• Greeting and assisting members.
• Other duties demanded by the business.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Time management, team attitude, attention to detail and computer skills required.
• An understanding of club culture is required.
• Tennis playing background is preferred but not mandatory.

Education and Experience:

• Pursuing or has a high school degree

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working outside 30% of your work time in the summer.
• Light lifting up to 20lbs and general maintenance type activity.

Licenses and Special Requirements:

• Tennis playing background is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rate:

• $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience.
• 30 hours per week
