Responsibilities:
- • Welcoming guests as soon as they arrive and making them feel welcome
• Connecting visitors with the appropriate person or office
• Setting a positive atmosphere: Ensuring the area is mail room is tidy and presentable, and providing basic and accurate information
• Special requests: Dealing with special requests from guests, such as answering questions about the area or dealing with complaints
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Correctly sort mail
• Ship out outgoing packages to the correct address
• Be at your desk ready to work at your scheduled time
• Submit monthly numbers, accomplishments and opportunities at the end of month to your direct manager
• Follow all SLAs
• Able to learn receptionist duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of mailroom
- A High School Diploma or equivalent job experience.
- Ability to use email and the internet, and to learn how to use an on-line work order system.
- Ready to work at scheduled time.
- Proven team player: ability to work with a team and achieve daily and monthly goals.
- Self starter: able to identify work that needs to be done and does it without required instruction.
- Courteous and communicative: able to interact with, assist and exceed the expectations of members with daily and special requests.
- Detail oriented: pays attention to details regarding processes and extra attention to special requests.
- A Doer: Ability to solve practical problems using reasoning skills.
- A desire to learn, grow, and seek new challenges.
- Ability to work with a large, diverse group of employees and suppliers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs..
