What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk position at The Millennium Group?
Responsibilities
- Provide backup reception support and general workplace assistance.
- Open, track, and close ServiceNow tickets for all maintenance requests.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify cleaning, safety, and repair needs.
- Escort and coordinate vendors; maintain maintenance documentation.
- Maintain kitchens, pantries, and common areas; restock supplies and coordinate appliance repairs.
- Complete special projects assigned by leadership.
- Support the mailroom services: Mail, packages, deliveries, etc.
- Assist with employee moves, including relocating furniture and personal items.
- Install nameplates, distribute keys, and prepare offices before move in.
- Assist with furniture deliveries, installations, repairs, and removal.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, assembling furniture, and rearranging office setups.
- Support executive meetings and events, including room setup, equipment, and food & beverage preparation.
- Set up tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment according to event diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Keep corridors and freight areas clear of debris.
- Report cleaning needs to appropriate vendors.
- Assist with mounting TVs, speakers, and basic audio equipment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- General facilities background with the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and a two (2) person lift over 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with building procedures.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills; collaborative team player.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work overtime on short notice.
- Independent, proactive, flexible, and able to collaborate across functions.
- Enthusiastic, can do attitude with strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly attentive to detail with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Hospitality experience – if possible
- Experience in the entertainment industry – if possible
