Engineering Technician – R&D Lab Testing (Grave or Swing Shift) Location: Fremont, CA (100% Onsite)
$30–$35/hr W2
We are seeking two Engineering Technicians to support advanced R\&D testing in a cleanroom engineering lab environment. This role focuses entirely on software‑driven testing and experiments, with no hardware, bench, or systems‑level troubleshooting.
**Responsibilities:**
• Perform R&D experiments and tests independently using specialized laptops and iPhones
• Transitioned completed experimental work to other team members
• Conduct end‑to‑end MES testing on a next‑generation R&D platform
• Work from detailed schematics and digital prints
• Execute testing workflows in a cleanroom environment
• Handle wafers and support prototype R&D processes
• Document results clearly and communicate findings with engineering teams
• Adapt quickly in a fluid, non‑repeatable testing environment
**Qualifications:**
• 3–8 years of experience as an Engineering Technician
• Prior R&D engineering lab or prototype test lab experience
• Strong computer‑based testing skills; highly self‑reliant
• Ability to work **Graveyard (9 PM–5:30 AM)** or **Swing (2 PM–10 PM)**
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work onsite full‑time
• Semiconductor experience is a plus
