Practice Manager
Behavioral Health & Clinical Wellness Practice
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing, mission-driven behavioral health practice that provides culturally responsive mental health therapy and organizational wellness consulting across Massachusetts. Founded and led by an experienced licensed clinician, the practice creates affirming, inclusive spaces for individuals, families, and organizations navigating identity, trauma, and life transitions.
As the practice expands its clinical services and consulting work, it is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the organization — someone who can bring structure, systems, and steady leadership so clinicians can focus on client care.
This is a high-impact role for an operations-minded professional who wants their work to matter and who thrives in a values-driven environment.

- Manage front-office workflows and the overall client experience from first contact through discharge
- Serve as the operational point of contact between clinical staff, clients, and leadership
Revenue Cycle & Billing
- Oversee billing, insurance verification, claims submission, and accounts receivable (directly or through a billing partner)
- Monitor reimbursement, resolve denials, and maintain healthy cash flow
- Track key financial and operational metrics and report to the CEO
Credentialing & Compliance
- Manage clinician credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and audit-ready clinical documentation standards
- Maintain state licensing, contracts, and regulatory requirements
People & Team Support
- Supervise and support administrative staff; coordinate onboarding for new clinicians and staff
- Help foster a collaborative, mission-aligned culture
Systems & Growth
- Administer the practice's EHR and telehealth platforms; manage technology and vendor relationships
- Support the growth of consulting, workshop, and contract-based service lines
- Assist with grant, contract, and public-sector engagement administration
What You Bring

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Supervisory or team-leadership experience
Preferred
- Credentialing and payer-enrollment experience
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (MBA/MHA a plus)
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) a plus
- Genuine commitment to serving diverse, historically marginalized communities
