Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: Afternoons; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Primary Patient Population

• Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients
  
  

Primary Skills Utilized/learned

• Patient Assessments
• Patient Triage
• Trauma care
• IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion
• Time management, critical thinking, delegating
  
  

Personnel RN Will Work With

• Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Providers
  
  

Number Of Beds On Unit

• 16 beds (ability to expand to 21)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current PALS certification or obtains within 6 months of hire
• Current TNCC certification or obtains within 1 year of hire
• PRN must possess current certifications upon hire
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
