Shipping/Warehouse Associate

Job Overview:

As a Shipping/Warehouse Associate at our meter reading services company, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of meter reading equipment and supplies. You will play a vital role in ensuring that field technicians receive the right tools and devices on time, while maintaining precise inventory records and upholding safety and efficiency standards across all warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment & Kitting:

• Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill internal work orders and field technician requests.
• Assemble kits containing meters, handheld readers, charging cables, carrying cases, and other necessary accessories.
• Stage completed kits and orders in designated outbound areas for pickup or shipment.

Shipping:

• Prepare outbound packages for shipment to field offices, technicians, or customers.
• Coordinate with carriers for scheduled pickups and ensure timely dispatch.
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.

Inventory Control:

• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits
• Assist with tracking equipment returns, repairs, and warranty replacements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.76 - $25.81 per hour
