Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized according to food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest menu enhancements to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Manage bar inventory levels, monitor stock supplies, and place orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events
Experience
- Proven bartending experience in fine dining establishments or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or catering events
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer styles
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically
- Experience in food service environments with a focus on beverage presentation and food safety practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills in fast-paced settings
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math understanding for inventory management, and accurate measurement of ingredients
