As a Curriculum Coordinator with The Menta Group, you will be responsible for academic programming and oversight of special education compliance.REQUIRED: IL PEL with LBS1 K-12 or PK-21 Staff Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri, following a 10 Month School CalendarBenefits & Paid Benefit Time Off (see compensation & benefits section) ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance and support to teaching staff, assistants and aides on the instruction of students with disabilities in academic subjects.Develop and implement technology-based learning Collaborate with teaching staff on the development and update of IEP goals and progress for students on assigned caseload. Monitor credits and courses required for graduation for students; Support teaching staff in preparing assignments, grading assignments, and preparing reports.In collaboration with administration, maintain all student transcripts, graduation analysis documents and progress reports.Coordinate and communicate with other staff members in order to ensure consistent application of the academic and therapeutic program.QualificationsCurrent PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 EndorsementCurriculum & Instruction Endorsement on the PEL, preferred but not requiredExtensive knowledge of IEP Writing and ProcessKnowledge of Think Cerca, Myon, and/or MobyMax is ideal Ability to coach and lead educational staffA strong background in Special Education including but not limited to cognitive & LD, Autism, BD, ED and OHIExperience in PBIS and trauma-informed programming is a plusExcellent organization, time management, and follow-up skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasivelyExceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skillsAbility to multitaskCompensation & BenefitsIn accordance with the Pay Transparency amendment to the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003, information about pay ranges and employee benefits can be found at the following links:Full Time Employee Benefits Overview: Our benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off (PTO); and a 403(b) retirement plan with an employer match.
