About the Job:
The Assistant Store Manager, Outreach, is responsible for the essential functions of an Assistant Store Manager, as contained in the Assistant Store Manager job description. In addition to those responsibilities, this role is responsible for driving local outreach sales revenue through strategic engagement with wedding partners, businesses, and educational institutions. This Assistant Store Manager, Outreach represents the brand, builds community relationships, and delivers exceptional experiences through personalized service and targeted outreach. This is a hybrid position, spending an average of two days per week acting in the capacity of an Assistant Store Manager, with the remaining three days per week performing assigned Outreach responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Store Manager, with outreach task assignment provided by the Sr. Zone Outreach Manager.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
In addition to the essential functions contained within the Assistant Store Manager job description, the Assistant Store Manager, Outreach, is responsible for the following essential Outreach functions:
- Create and grow a hyper-local network of business outreach partnerships (weddings, schools, business organizations) to drive volume and source new outreach referral opportunities.
- Partner with Outreach team to support national outreach initiatives at the local level.
- Attend high profile market outreach events, both in-store and on-site where needed.
- Support local outreach involvement at new store openings and relocations as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring | Skills and Qualifications
In addition to the qualifications described within the Assistant Store Manager job description, the Assistant Store Manager, Outreach must meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years of retail or customer-facing experience, preferably with a background in community outreach
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute community initiatives and business development activities
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with schools, wedding professionals, and local organizations
- Highly organized with strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask across several projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle systems, quick to learn new technology platforms including navigation and task execution
- Deep product knowledge across rental, retail, and custom offerings

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
