Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pension Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pension plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding retirement benefits. This role requires strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft systems. The Pension Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining accurate pension data, overseeing benefit processes, and supporting employee relations related to retirement programs.
Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans, including data collection, processing, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including ERISA, TMRP Trust Indenture, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Manage benefits administration related to retirement plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate benefit deductions and contributions.
- Handle member inquiries regarding pension benefits with professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain detailed records of members and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in benefits administration with a focus on pension plans or retirement benefits.
- Strong knowledge of pension plans, pension laws- ERISA and regulatory reporting standards.
- Proficiency with basic office equipment including but not limited to telephones, fax, mail machines, copier, and Microsoft products
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Data analysis skills for monitoring pension plan performance and compliance metrics.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection and report generation.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
