The Host/Expo/Service Assistant plays a key role in creating a welcoming first impression for our guests, which can begin before they even walk in the doors by setting up their reservation and ensuring we take note of any and every reason for their upcoming visit! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, multitasking, and being part of a fun and fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor.
Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable and updating.
Setting up tables with packages per request of guests.
Communicate guests needs and table status with servers and managers.
Assist servers by doing expo, getting drink refills, helping set up cheese trays, salads, entrees and chocolate trays. Clearing/cleaning tables and re-setting for the next reservation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, host area and restrooms.
Support overall guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing quick assistance.
Follow all safety, sanitation and service procedures.
