The University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a fellowship‑trained Cornea and External Disease Ophthalmologist to join its academic faculty. This full‑time position offers a pure cornea practice within a nationally respected academic program and a traditional faculty model.
The Position
The Cornea Service at the University of Florida serves as the primary regional referral center for complex corneal disease, supporting a diverse and high‑acuity case mix. This role is intentionally structured to allow the incoming faculty member to remain fully subspecialized in cornea and external disease, without the need to maintain a general ophthalmology or cataract‑driven practice.
Clinical care, surgery, and teaching are all delivered within a single, centralized academic site, supporting efficiency, collaboration, and continuity of care.

Qualifications
