What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Sales Associate-Budtender position at The Medication Station?
**Applicant must have a Valid OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit to begin work*
(Must be over 21 yrs of age)
We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, computer savvy team player to join
us, we are well established and looking for qualified people. We will train the right person but
industry experience as well as Point of Sale/Cash register experience is preferred. Must have transportation and be flexible to work most shifts including weekends and evenings.
An individual that is motivated and personable as well as able to quickly grasp concepts, interact with customers in a friendly manner and has a vast knowledge about Cannabis. Also, it is helpful to know the products a retail establishment might sell, how they are produced and the affects one can obtain from consuming it responsibly.
Some of the daily responsibilities include:
-Daily opening and closing tasks, balance your cash register at night
-Restocking showroom floor, assisting with backroom organization when needed
-Checking ID's, ensuring compliance rules are followed to the letter
-Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust, respect and cleanliness
-Clearly be able to communicate the effects of and different types of cannabis to patients/customers
-Recommend, select and help locate the proper cannabis product for customers depending on their experience and need
-Frequently maintain glass, vacuuming, and sanitation of dispensary
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
