The Medical Team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage our housekeeping staff to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and families. Your leadership will be essential in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities.
Location: West Bloomfield and Oak Park campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and manage a team of housekeeping staff.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained according to cleanliness standards.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff on best practices, safety guidelines, and proper cleaning techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary materials are available for staff.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cleanliness initiatives and enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in housekeeping or management is a plus.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a healthcare environment is preferred.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
