Position Overview
This is an entry-level analyst role within the Categorization team and is part of The Media Trusts Client Operations Group, responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate creative content categorization of digital assets. Digital assets include static images and video clips across more than 50 creative content taxonomies as well as IAB content classification of webpages.
You will collaborate closely with other members of the Categorization team and Product Manager, utilizing web-based tools and AI solutions to review and ensure client creative assets meet their respective AI identified categories. This position requires the on-going visual assessment of images and visual and auditory assessment of videos within TMTs defined category lists; e.g. looking for the presence of alcohol, tobacco, weapons, adult content, etc, within the creative assets.
This is a hybrid role based out of our McLean, VA headquarters. Occasional early evening or weekend hours may be required during peak periods or high-priority project deliveries.
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and proper classification of creative assets. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Navigate and use TMTs proprietary systems to analyze creative assets and make accurate, timely classification decisions.
- Review and verify display and video creatives within your assigned AI classification queues.
- Use standard Windows and browser tools to assist in creative assessment when needed.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of category definitions, expanding your expertise as new categories and nuances arise.
- Work in a structured, process-driven environment, ensuring creative queues are continuously monitored, processed, and cleared throughout the day.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize misclassification and false positives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to resolve client-reported creative issues.
- Use tools such as JIRA, Slack, and Google Workspace for communication and task management.
- Support the maintenance of product documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
- Participate in periodic weekend coverage as required
Qualifications
- Degree not required relevant experience and skills are valued equally.
- Comfortable reviewing content that may contain sensitive, graphic, or mature subject matter.
- Experience with visual categorization workflows is a plus.
- Enjoys working on tasks that are structured and repetitive in nature.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality control.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with publishers, ad tech platforms, or digital agencies in a technical or operations support capacity.
- Exposure to or interest in web security, privacy compliance, or malware detection in online advertising.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaborative tools like Confluence and Qlik.
