Banquet Bartender

Job Requirements:

• The Baquet Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our Members and guests. This role involves supporting all Club venues and events while collaborating with fellow Employee Partners to ensure a high standard of service. The Bartender maintains a clean, organized, and secure bar and service area, following proper procedures for stocking, cleaning, and completing opening and closing duties to guarantee the bar is always ready for service. Responsibilities include preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional and welcoming manner.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous bartending experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, including spirits, wines, and beers.
• Familiarity with common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks.
• Valid Alcohol Server Certification.
• A passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that enhances the overall Member and guest experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to recipes established by the Beverage Manager.
• Process drink orders and issue checks using an electronic input system.
• Conduct daily inventory of liquors, beers, wines, and tobacco, tracking high-demand items to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area by cleaning equipment and polishing glasses.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. overhead.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, and credit card machines.
• Ability to manage high customer volume during peak times.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work primarily within the indoor bar area, with opportunities for outdoor service as needed.
